The proposed product can turn any smartphone into a robust offline and online Essential medicines point of sale and ordering systeam

What problem does your idea solve in the market?

Most Essential medicines drug customers get frustrated when there is a question about a price or availability of an item and a store employee doesn't have the tools to provide a quick answer from. The old fashioned cash registers which are used by most essential medicines drug shops sales associates force accountants to sort through hundreds of receipts and inventory manually.

Briefly explain how you identified the need or opportunity

We identified the need for our innovation after realizing most Essential medicines drug shops owners need a cost effective way of managing point of sale operations. We also observed that a number of Essential medicines drug shops operators possess smartphones

Who are the beneficiaries of your solution and how will they benefit?

The immediate beneficiaries are the Essential medicines drug shops operators and owners whose work of doing the daily sales business is going to be simplified The store owners can use our product to track their biggest sellers and reorder those products when stock gets low. Our product can enable easy management of long lines during the busiest parts of the sales day, avoiding any potential customer’s satisfaction issues, or even lost sales, due to long waits.

Why are you convinced your solution will solve the problem?

I am convinced that t solution will solve the problem because it introduces a mobile and web free to use product digital product which can lower the cost of doing Essential medicines sales business while increasing productivity, and that can be good for the bottom line.

What other initiatives like yours exist out there? How will you differentiate your solution?

Currently the modern essential medicines drug shops are basically using a non mobile computerized and manual cash registers which can not be moved from the fixed sales station. With our mobile essential medicine point of sales product , one can now consider new ways to drive sales in different parts of your store. Maybe the sales associate want to hold a demo or a class in a store to promote a product or category and when the customers get excited and they are ready to buy, the sales associate can sell to them on the spot.

What have you done up-to date to test your idea with potential users? What learnings do you have to share?

We have developed a prototype and now we are currently correcting more requirements from user experience and feed back Out of our experience we realized most clients would prefer to use a system which can work both online and offline.

How will you financially sustain your business?

Whole sale essential medicine suppliers will be given a chance to advertise their drugs to essential medicine retailer who will be using our product and we intend to charge a 5% commission on essential medical products and supplies advertised and orders from our product by essential medicine retailers.
