How might we improve data systems for healthcare delivery?

The proposed title of your idea

Please describe your idea.

Over the ages, new diseases keep being discovered while others keep mutating. The Human Geno is increasingly changing due to our lifestyle.

What problem does your idea solve in the market?

- Gene mutation - choosing partners whose blood lineage and Geno is well known. - Prevention of unkown diseases that can affect our families in the near future.

Briefly explain how you identified the need or opportunity

I noticed that the world is undergoing a great deal of changes interms of social aspects and also migration. Inter marriages have increased tremendously. People have lost track of their lineage and can recall upto 4 generations, except for royalty whose roots are documented. Due to this, the human gene is undergoing aggressive mutation, unkown diseases carried from different romes are mutating undetected and this i fear may be a bomb waiting to blow up on our faces in future.

Who are the beneficiaries of your solution and how will they benefit?

Citizens of the world would benefit from the system in question which involves gene tracking from a young age. This will all start from the young generation 10 years and below and those being born. It starts from the hospital and scales.

Why are you convinced your solution will solve the problem?

As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure. If we can prevent a situation from happening, there is no better solution. But its also said that one should never go into war without knowing the strength of the enemy. Surpressing, controlling and checking the rampant mutation of genes and diseases will help us prevent some bad genes and diseases growing, it will also ensure that we have researched well about some other mutations we have controlled with time which will ensure no blow up.

What other initiatives like yours exist out there? How will you differentiate your solution?

https://www.familytreedna.com/ There are a ton of researchers out there with well written research in this area but there is a lacking in implementation

What have you done up-to date to test your idea with potential users? What learnings do you have to share?

The idea has not been tested in real time but has been presented before as a poster presentation in Texas United states by my colleague who won(was selected) a poster session and travel by Global Health Corps.

How will you financially sustain your business?

This product will be installed in all hospitals because it all starts in the hospital, at birth. We intend to push for it as a national policy. Government and private hospitals will have to pay an annual fee for use of this networked system. It will also improve the element of Data science as researches will use the data to come up with info-graphics. A fee is always rendered for special access of the system
